I can't say enough great things about the kitchen, drinks, and staff here! You've got to try the food - it's better and more affordable than most restaurants. Every time I'm in town it is absolutely a must-have.
Went for the New Years Eve dinner. Chicken wild rice soup and the chili were delicious! Steak & shrimp were perfectly grilled! More food than we could eat. Service was great! Great way to ring in the new year!

We wanted to try something new, so this was our first time at the Hillside Inn. Nice little dive bar with great food! We had a party of 7. Service was quick and accurate. They young man, who was our waiter around 7pm Sunday, Aug 13th, 2023, was very polite and good at his job. We all ordered meals and had 3 appetizers. The buffalo sauce on the wings was excellent! Seasoned sour cream for the waffle fries was on point! Fish and burgers were cooked perfectly. All in all, great food and service!
All their food is a cut above average for up here. Saturday ribs are the best there are. Service is very friendly. I think the owner was a chef in the cities...and doing very well up here.
Four of us made the Hillside our Saturday lunch destination from Luck, WI. We had great Bloody Mary's and then a Hillside Burger, Philly sandwich and other delicious food. I would highly recommend Hillside for their large portions and fare price. We will see you again soon! Chips
You have to try the Duck Wontons for an appetizer. They are so good! You get a lot of bang for you buck here. The portion sizes are huge. So make sure you come hungry!! The people and staff are so friendly and helpful. We had a truly great time.
